With the Alpha release of Engage: Events, we're looking to refine the way we get feedback from our users. We're hoping a new process for gathering feedback, documenting issues, and planning our product roadmap will be mutually beneficial.
As with any additional process, the intent is to improve communication. So to help organize your feedback and clearly communicate back to you our intentions, we're going to be using Gemini (issue tracking tool) to document all bugs (suspected and known) and enhancment requests.
The fourms will be used for our user community to ask and answer questions like, "How do I?" or "Have you ever had this problem?" or "What's the best way to...?" If an issue become bigger than purely a discussion, the topic/issue should be entered as a bug, an enhancement, or feature request at support.engagemodules.com.
One of the most exciting things about using Gemini for documenting, tracking, and resolving issues is that the user community has a chance to vote on issues. We're excited to start this dialogue with you and we hope you're as excited to help us improve our product.
We'll post more information about our process for communicating plans for the Engage: Events road map, but let us know how this process works as we are excited to offer another tool to improve our product release process.
