While I admire the many color choices available for the calendar, would you consider polling users for a few more adaptable and conservative color schemes inside the settings? I've found most of your color choices a bit distracting and overly psychedelic and fluorescent - resulting in a sort of visual spaghetti...drawing attention away from reading the events.  

Better still, you might include a "Color Dashboard" in the admin area to allow user input for color selections. This would go a long way towards helping a novice achieve a consistent appearance throughout their website...without complicated editing chores.   

That said, I'd even be happy if you would considered matching a few of the color schemes available in your own Adaptive Skin package. I use your Adaptive Skin on one of my main websites and would love to have a complimentary color scheme to your "red" or "blue".
