With the release of Engage: Events, we tried something new in our forums - make the forums purely conversational and document bugs, enhancement suggestions and feature requests in our Issue Tracking system. Early indications would suggest we've been mildly successful. We're getting some good feedback, but old habits die hard and a lot of the feedback has been through the forum and not directly documented in Gemini.
With Engage: Dashboard, we're going to follow the same protocol and we'd encourage you to suggest, and document bugs at support.engagemodules.com.
By opening up our Issues Tracking system to you, the end user, we're hoping to be more transparent about our products' roadmaps and get direct feedback channeled into the product release process
To reiterate our process read on:
The forums will be used for our user community to ask and answer questions like, "How do I?" or "Have you ever had this problem?" or "What's the best way to...?" If an issue become bigger than purely a discussion, the topic/issue should be entered as a bug, an enhancement, or feature request at support.engagemodules.com.
One of the most exciting things about using Gemini for documenting, tracking, and resolving issues is that the user community has a chance to vote on issues. We're excited to start this dialogue with you and we hope you're as excited to help us improve our product.
We'll post more information about our process for communicating plans for the Engage: Dashboard road map, but let us know how this process works as we are excited to offer another tool to improve our product release process.
Summary: If you are having an installation problem with the module please feel free to post it here in our forum, we will try to assist you. If believe you've found a bug be sure to enter it at http://support.engagemodules.com/ so we can accurately track and squash the bug.
