We are currently not using the article approval status, it gets turned off on each article. When we import our articles into publish we can go through the table and set the status or turn it off. When it the approval status is turned off in an article, the default gets set to "approved".

However, when I am working in a publish module, and managing content, the defaut in the drop down list is set to edit or waiting for approval. Is there any way to set this default to view approved articles first? It would save time and effort.
