Would anyone be interested in a tool that I quickly wrote tonight to convert from DNN Blog posts to Publish articles? It doesn't touch comments, or existing urls, but does transfer the content of posts quite easily. Perhaps I will put it together as a sample for how to interact with the Publish API changes coming in 5.2?
