1. Manually you can change the number of items per page in the manage content section.

For the article list you can open /desktopmodules/engagepublish/articles/articlelist.ascx, there's a setting in there

PageSize="10" You should be able to change that value and increase the total. (I'm trying to test that this will work right now and will let you know if it doesn't)

2. Not yet, but that is on the list of features to be worked on
